Cadastral records, planning restrictions, and notarial procedure routinely surprise unprepared buyers. Most international clients navigate this alone, advised by agents whose loyalty is structurally divided.
Aurea was founded to close that gap. We are an independent advisory firm — paid only by our clients, never by sellers — with a single mandate: represent the buyer, end to end, with the rigour the market demands and the care the experience deserves.
We do not list properties. We do not collect referral fees. We do not brand-extend into a hundred services. We do one thing, and we do it for very few clients at a time.

We hold no listings, earn no seller commissions, and accept no referral fees from agents, developers, or contractors. Our remuneration comes from one place: our clients. That structural independence is what separates true counsel from a sales relationship.

Founding Advisor
Gabrielle is a California licensed attorney. Admitted to the bar in 2001, she spent her first years in Italy practicing with a Magic Circle firm in Rome, assisting international clients in various transactions, litigation and arbitration. She later branched out to real estate matters and has assisted numerous international clients in the real estate acquisition process. Italy, and in particular Rome, have always been special to Gabrielle — from studying abroad in Rome to meeting her future (Italian) husband, those decisions and a chance encounter sealed the deal on a future Italian life. Adapting to Italian ways and learning to navigate the system, she has gained an insider's knowledge on what works, what doesn't and how best to close the gap to achieve the desired goal. Gabrielle founded Aurea to support international property buyers by offering a smooth, thought-out transaction process for those who value peace of mind as well as a solid investment.

We accept a limited number of mandates per year. This is not a marketing claim — it is the only way to deliver the depth of care our clients deserve. If we are the right fit for you, we will tell you. If we are not, we will tell you that too, and refer you onward.
